It’s snow fun

15 Feb

Hello SK friends.

Louisa May Alcatt reporting from the storm du jour here in New England.

The snow was so high. I needed Scrabble to help me keep watch at my post

Can you see anything Scrabble?

The snow is pretty high on the deck! What’s it doing outside? Can you check for us Scrabble?

Ha, Ha! Scrabble is making a snow angel. Scrabble, how about helping MAD clear some snow? He looks wiped out.

You are such a good shoveler, Scrabble. Especially for a little guy.

Look at all that snow you cleared, Scrabble. Go ahead, take a well-deserved break.

Oh no, watch out Scrabble! Looks like you’re getting scooped up with the snow!

Wow, that was a close one. Almost lost you. Come inside and I’ll make you some yummy hot chocolate, made specially for us by our good friend WHDH.

I hope our friends enjoyed your adventures today, xo LMA & S

My goodness, that’s a whole lot of snow to shovel. MAD and Scrabble are quite the team. Hot chocolates all around!

Hahah – that’s a lot of snow to shovel! It’s a good thing Scrabble’s there to help. It looks like you have even more than we do and I didn’t think that was possible. The best thing about shoveling is the hot chocolate – enjoy!

Holey Moley!! Look at all that snow. Are times a-changin’? Will grandpas start telling stories about when they were kids, people didn’t even need to own snow shovels because there just wasn’t enough snow? “I walked barefoot to school, uphill both ways, on the GRASS!”

They may, but instead of grass, they will substitute barefoot on steaming hot pavement. It will garner more sympathy. 😊
