Hello sf fans, after putting our post to bed last night, ex woke up and discovered a new follower. Please join me in following Matthew Vickery and in helping him help eliminate violence against women. Xo LMA

What's left of the Left?



Myself and the four others I was with on Monday night have been asked countless times by individuals and the press whether we have been surprised by how many people were prepared to stand up and be counted against the dangerous statements, questions and slurs that were included within the Radio pub quiz. We responded every time that we were not that surprised, considering there exists many decent good people out there who can critically analyse the way society works and are able to see exactly how certain interactions can create the normalization of sexual violence and harassment against women, as well as the dangers of tolerating speech that is anti-minority. 

Well done to all for being counted on this, and helping to expose G1 (the umbrella company that Radio is owned by, and that has been involved in previous ‘scandals’; see here, and here for two examples)…
