Loving the displays of Patriotism!

28 Apr

Hello and welcome to another installment of Suffragette Kitty.

As mentioned in my earlier post, things have been very hectic in the Boston area, where I now live.

I am happy to report, that despite all the terrorism, death and destruction, my adopted city is overflowing with Patriotism! This is exactly the kind of spirits we Alcatts embrace, especially in troubling times. It also demonstrates our nation’s resistance to any force that tries to destroy us. To quote Twisted Sister (I can’t believe I am quoting Twisted Sister,) “We’re not gonna take it!”

I won’t keep you long, but I just wanted to share some uplifting photos my publicist took around Watertown, Mass. this weekend. Enjoy!

When life gave us lemons here, Emily, age 6, decided to make Lemonade.

No matter how you slice it, we will not be defeated. (btw, the pizza at Roma's in Watertown is excellent. My publicist is eating some right now!)

As a nation, we are always be on the of-fence.

Our Patriotism is always on track. These flags graced the edges of the Watertown High School track, where my publicist did some CrossFit and sprints.

This sign outside a church in Watertown shows true Patriotic spirit.
